Painting the set.....
Hotel Priscilla.......

Thoroughly Modern Millie :
Last chance - tonight at 7pm! :-) It's great!
It's about a lady (Millie) coming to New York to find a wealthy boss to marry. But then she meets a man (Jimmy) and shortly falls in love with him. While that continues, there is another story going on about two Chinese people working for the manager of "The hotel Priscilla" (the hotel that Millie stays in), and the manager kidnaps young actresses to a person named Buddha. The Chinese people are working for her because they need the money to get her mother to America form China.

"A snowball sentence," said Mr. Jaones to his daughter, " is on in which each word is one letter longer tan the preceding word. Do you think you can construct such a sentence?"
The daughter thought for several minutes before she finally said, " I am not that smart, father."
Can you prove that the daughter was smarter than she said she was?
.......
1 was a racehorse.
2 was 12.
111 race.
2112.
Can you make sense of this poem?

THE MATTHEWS (for now...)
Matthew 4 : 4
' Man does not live on bread alone,
but on every word that comes from the
mouth of God. '
Matthew 17 : 20
'I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed,
' Man does not live on bread alone,
but on every word that comes from the
mouth of God. '
Matthew 17 : 20
'I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed,
you can say to this mountain ' Move from here to there'
and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.'
and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.'

Brrr! It's cold! Plus...no school! For us, that's good and bad. Good because, well, sleeping in I guess :-), and bad because we are performing our middle school musical to some elementary schools, and CMS tomorrow!
Anyway... here's another bible verse:
Anyway... here's another bible verse:
PHILIPPIANS 2 : 10 - 11
'that at the name of Jesus
every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.'

and every tongue confess

And here's a riddle:
Little Tommy fell off his tricycle and bumped his head so hard that he was knocked unconscious. When he came to, he spoke perfect French. How come?
.......
Is there another common English word, aside from SUGAR, in which S, as the first letter, is pronounced SH? Can you name it?
.......
What is the name of Mrs. Letterman's poodle.
.......
The word FORTY is the only number-word with its letters in alphabetical order. What number-word has its letters in reverse alphabetical order? Hint : It's less than fifty.
